Our Exciting Opportunity

Ericsson Expert Analytics is a groundbreaking solution, which combines big data technologies with outstanding event processing methodologies to analyze customer experience as well as the performance and usability of the network infrastructure.
Our big data analytics solution is heavily based on our telecommunication domain expertise and is strengthened by near real-time data processing. It relies on a highly scalable and distributed, cloud-based microservice architecture. It is crafted for telecommunication operation providers having up to 10Tbps real-time network traffic to be analyzed continuously.
Ericsson Hungary is looking for an Operational Product Owner to join our Ericsson Expert Analytics (EEA) team to represent and translate business demands and drive the delivery of solutions.

You will

  • Explain “What” and “Why” to the agile team you will work with
  • Help the team achieve the right technical content and quality for a developed feature
  • Support communication between development teams in various locations/organizations as well as other key partners
  • Own and maintain the product backlog for our products and services, lead break-down of features into user stories
  • Foster process improvement within your teams
  • Balance new features and improvements as product life cycle responsible jointly with the Area Product Owner who is responsible for the business requirements from a product development perspective
  • Provide effort estimates and timeline for deliveries based on the teams’ input
  • Secure product quality and maintainability
  • Build, maintain and communicate business understanding
  • Accept or reject the team’s work result
  • Say “no” when necessary and propose alternative options
  • Highlight risks in the development
  • Collaborate with Strategic Product Managers and Program Managers
  • Report progress of new features
  • Represent your our area on the relevant forums

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Possess BSc or MSc degree preferably in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Have demonstrated experience in Product Owner or Scrum Master role
  • Have experience in agile software development and continuous integration
  • Have superb communication and presentation skills
  • Able to train and mentor less experienced people
  • Have good English communication skills
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins

It is a huge plus If you have:

  • Knowledge in telco domain
  • Experience with Java, Spark, and Scala, Kafka, Big Data
  • Creating robust and highly scalable product
