What will you be doing?As an Physics (young) professional at TNO, you will assist in projects with a major impact on Dutch society. You will contribute to challenging industries from the Semiconductor and Biomedical industries to the Space industry and Defence. No two working days are the same; depending on your specific role on the projects you are allowed to get your teeth into there are nuances, but research is always your core business. Together with colleagues from a variety of disciplines, you ensure that the competitive strength of Dutch trade and industry is reinforced, because at TNO you always at least five years ahead of the crowd. With an eye to the trends and developments in your discipline, you will be working on the technologies of tomorrow.
All this, you will be doing in a dynamic environment, where you:

- can work your own hours from wherever you please.
What do we require of you?You are an independent, ambitious starter and your own development is high priority. You have demonstrably good collaboration skills. Especially when there are differing views and ideas within a team. You are able to clearly explain complex theories and technologies. You are enterprising and stress resistant and able to successfully complete projects in a structured fashion within the agreed time span.
As Physics (young) professional , you have:
- A Master's degree or PhD in physics;
- A GPA of 7,5 or higher (please attach your grade list);
- A maximum of one year work experience (after obtaining your Master's degree or PhD);
- A second Master's degree or PhD;
- Managerial experience;
- International experience;
- Volunteer work.
