We are looking for students who want to be part of the PREPARE CHILD team.The project is a randomized controlled study that aims to include 240 couples. The project will take place at the Department of Nutrition, Exercise and Sports, KU in collaboration with Hvidovre hospital and Rigshospitalet. The PREPARE CHILD project aims to investigate how weight loss prior to conception affects the body's health in prospective parents, the ability to conceive, the pregnancy, and subsequently their planned child's health. The expected start of the project is September/October 2022. We look for students who want to take part in tasks related to the execution of the research project as part of their study program (bachelor’s, master’s, or other study-related projects). Your tasks as a student on the project will include recruitment of study participants, pre-screenings, assistance in information meetings, examination of trial participants (including anthropometric measurements, blood pressure, etc.), data collection, handout of intervention products, and research-related ad hoc tasks. As you as part of the project will have close contact with trial participants, it is a requirement that you are Danish and/or English speaking.
